Carmen Ordoñez is a Honduran photographer based in Chicago. Her work explores themes of community, feminism, and culture. She engages deeply with various Latino communities, using her photography to challenge assumptions and rethink the visual narrative surrounding overlooked groups in the United States. Ordoñez is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Photography. Her work was also featured in the book Slow and Low, published in 2023.
